This deck is complete and the cards and companion booklet are in excellent condition. The beautiful box has some slight wear on the corners and on the bottom. The cards are oversized and the deck itself is heavy and very sturdy. Please see pics.

An extremely rare piece for collectors and connoisseurs.

The artwork of this deck “I TAROCCHI DI DANTE E DEI FEDELI D’AMORE” or “The Tarot of Dante and the Believers of Love” is both disturbing and fascinating but amazing. Printed in 1983, it is long OOP and VERY difficult to find in good condition.

These paintings by Wolfgang Peretti Poggi, based on the literary work of the Florentine poet Dante Alighieri (1265-1321), are in the style of Giotto, a contemporary of Dante, and are made to appear in the style of frescos. Areas are printed in gold and silver inks.

There are scenes here from a variety of Dante's works, most notably The Divine Comedy, as well as scenes from the Old and New Testaments and from Greek mythology.
