This 2002 version is not easy to come by.

This deck was printed in the year 1880 by the Italian card company Serravale Sesia. A single example from this period can be found in the Museo Fournier de Naipes de Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the Basque Country.

This deck, commonly called "Ancient Italian Tarots" or "Classic Tarot" is very different from the Marseille Tarot, and derives from a deck created by Fernando Gumppemberg, a manufacturer of German origin who began an intense activity in card production in 1810.

In the early 2000s, the famous Lo Scarabeo collaborated with the Fabbri to publish a limited edition tarot collection. This series published classic decks such as Rider-Waite and Mantegna, as well as other original decks created by renowned artists. The result was a series of iconic, high-quality, collectible tarot decks. Most of these decks are out of print and are rare to find.
