Elisabeth de Senneville 2002 Tarot Divination Cards - Children Oracle

Extremely beautiful and very rare set of divination cards made by Dusserre for famous French fashion designer and artist Elisabeth de Senneville. Although titled a “tarot” set, it is actually a set of 44 cards; each has an original Senneville design and has been signed by her.

A non-fashion designer, Elisabeth de Senneville defines herself as a techno designer, but she is much more than that. She is a true artist who since the 1970s has invested the world of fashion and design with a visionary aesthetic breath. She is inspired by her work on Pop Art, her passion for the avant-garde and painting of the 18th century, the use of printing and deformation by computer, video, graffiti artists, to invent a language plastic that she applies to clothes cut in innovative materials (liquid crystals) or diverted (shower curtains, inner tubes) or even so everyday (work overalls).

The cards are accompanied by a booklet in French that describes how to read the cards and what they mean.

As noted, the set consists of 44 divination cards. In addition, there is a card in French with a brief description of the cards and the artist, plus a booklet in French with detailed information. The cards are a size that is not unusual for tarot cards, measuring 120mm x 64mm, with striking silver gilt around. The cards and booklet come in the original box.
