Ravenswood Eastern Tarot 1981 - 1st Edition

Created by Dirk Dykstra, and published by US Games Systems in 1981, this incredible deck is a super rare find, especially in such great condition! This copy of the Ravenswood Eastern Tarot is complete and uncolored.

The colours in the Ravenswood Eastern Tarot are simple - black line drawings on plain white - but the theme is exotic and mixes tarot symbols with Middle Eastern art. The deck is meant to be coloured by the user.
This deck is combining traditional tarot symbols (largely in the Waite/Smith tradition) with decorative elements from the art of the Middle East (particularly 18th and 19th century art from India and Turkey). The black-and-white images are highly suited to hand coloring. 78 cards, with fully illustrated pips.
