Tarot Subirachs - LIMITED EDITION 2003 - Antique and Vintage Tarot Cards

This tarot was designed by the painter, sculptor and art critic Josep M. Subirachas (1927-2014) who created 100 stone figures for the Passion Facade of Antoni Gaudí's famous Sagrada Família Basilica in Barcelona.
The figures he created for his tarot are drawn in a similar angular style, with forms reduced to geometric shapes, triangles, ovals, rectangles and squares, reflecting esoteric ideas.

It consists of 78 cards + 1 letter of introduction + 32-page explanatory booklet, written in Spanish, Catalan, Basque and Galician. 
Card measurements: 14 x 7.5 cm
Measurements of the wooden box: 15.50 x 9.50 x 4.3 cm. 

The illustrations that we find in each of the cards are the symbolic representation of different occult disciplines that represent the great truths of the universe. The characters represented have triangular faces, simple figures in terms of symbology, but with great expressive force.
